Do you feel distraught by throwing away glass bottles for the only reason that they're empty??? This sat so poorly with a Californian woman, Caren McNamara from Truckee, CA, that she decided to take action. Encouraged by one of Respectful Revolution's previous videos: "Jurgen Knoeller & Bayern Brewery" about a German immigrant in Missoula, MT who re-uses bottles for his beer, she set up a collection system between North-Eastern CA and Reno, NV. Her hope is to save millions of perfectly fine bottles from wasteful destruction while turning a profit in the process. This video also marks a turning point in the RR project: it introduces Stacey Wear, co-founder, as a host and interviewer; it is the first step in a new direction where we'll focus on practical solutions with economic applications; AND we're starting to cut several versions of the same stories for different social media applications.
