RR is starting a new portrait series about persons who were or are still homeless in Chico, CA. We will present a variety of cases with the intention of debunking prejudices and misconceptions while showing the reality of who's out there sleeping on the street and why.

We begin with the interview of a woman we met in a park South of Chico a few months ago. We had used snippets of her interview for a couple of videos already but we felt that she had so much more to say. And Hedi is extremely compelling. Abandoning a person like her on the street in constant danger is barbaric and totally unacceptable.
