Ron Sciarrillo is the opposite of someone who drags their feet to go to work. He explodes with communicative enthusiasm when it comes to his newly discovered career and passion: building Earthships on a desert plateau in northern New Mexico near Taos. Working alongside famous Earthship architect Michael Reynolds (A.K.A. "Garbage Warrior"), Ron debunks all notions that we should be wasting precious drinking water to flush toilets or that we should spend ungodly amounts of energy to cool houses in the summer and heat them in the winter. Today, Ron knows better, and so,along with Mike Reynolds , he started an Earthship academy where young people from all around the world come to learn how to build houses that do not deplete or pollute their natural environments.
