Then came the murder of Trayvon Martin in Florida. Then came the televised murder of a homeless man named James Boyd in her hometown; an incident that brought a DOJ investigation upon Albuquerque PD. As a result, Dinah became a passionate community organizer in the hope of spurring public opposition to a pandemic of unjustified, often racially-motivated homicides committed by under-trained, trigger-happy police officers throughout the U.S..
