Cindy Irwin is a beautiful soul inside out who loves people and animals. One day out of sheer curiosity, this resident of Olympia, WA stopped with her husband at the “Wolf Haven International” sanctuary just South of Olympia. Like most visitors, she fell under the spell of the noble animals, so much so that she immediately asked about volunteering. She managed to find the time because she felt it was a worthy cause. Cindy did a bit of everything to help out, including guiding visitors. Eventually a position of volunteer manager opened up for her. She re-arranged her life to make sense of a more modest salary than what she was used to, but she didn’t mind: she felt that she was doing at last something truly meaningful and beneficial to the world and something that she immensely enjoyed too.
